Today I’m testing the Mini Cooper E with the 36.6 kWh battery at its top speed of 160 km/h on the German Autobahn.
This is not a range test for efficiency – it’s a realistic high-speed stress test to see:
– how fast the state of charge drops
– what the real consumption looks like
– and whether the Mini Cooper E stays stable and usable at its maximum speed
Car specs:
– 36.6 kWh battery
– Front-wheel drive
– 184 hp
– Top speed: 160 km/h
Test details:
– Constant driving at 160 km/h (where possible)
– Trip reset at 75% SoC
– Winter conditions
– Focus on consumption, stability, comfort & noise

– Battery depletion per kilometer
– Ride comfort & bumpiness at high speed
– Stability, steering feel & noise level
– Why this speed is possible, but not efficient
