Scot and Logan are in Austin at SXSW 2026 to see the Rivian R2 at its official unveil — and it’s much closer to production than we expected!

After riding in the launch R2 and spending the day around the vehicle, we sat down (poolside, because the street was loud!) to share our first impressions, talk through the trims, and recap everything we saw at the event.

Early takeaways: the interior quality surprised us in a good way, there’s tons of clever storage, and a few design quirks we noticed up close.
