Bethany and I took our 2025 Tesla Model Y Long Range RWD (Legacy, HW4, 82kWh Panasonic pack) on a quick Charlotte → Atlanta overnight run and basically let FSD handle the entire trip. We hit full Supercharger power, had quick stops, toured the Mercedes-Benz Charging Hub in Sandy Springs, checked out Ponce City Market + Rivian, and wrapped it all with real-world trip efficiency stats.
On this ~550-mile loop we averaged 266 Wh/mi (3.75 mi/kWh), did ~15-minute Supercharger stops, and even saw ~250kW (surprisingly) around 18% SoC. Also: hotel charging, Whataburger impressions, and a classic “Costco on a Sunday” fail.
