Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and in 2025, the Next Generation Car(s), Cybercab & the Optimus Robot!
This is my Thanksgiving and final flight of November 2025 and I was joined by my sister Sue, her husband Ed, their dog Kiki and I did a slightly different kind of flight today, starting with a 360 flight around the main factory, then visited several key locations around the larger Giga Texas property before wrapping up the flight.
I expect my drone flight schedule to return mostly to normal next week.

The biggest news today is the production schedule for the rest of the year to help give you an idea what to expect. This is a typical holiday schedule that Tesla has used for the past few years, so this is not really a new development, but interesting, nonetheless.
Here is the schedule as I understand it:
No production 26, 27 & 28 November 2025. Production resumes 1 December on the normal Monday -Thursday schedule and then the week of 15 December will be a full week of production including Friday, 19 December, which is the last day of production for 2025.
There will be no production last 2 weeks of December and the New Years holiday, and then production will resume on Monday 5 January 2026 on the normal Monday – Thursday schedule for now. I would expect some changes to the normal schedule as production rates change based on the guidance Tesla provided us at the Shareholders meeting.
There are many areas of progress today, including more assembly work & steel deliveries at the electrical switchyard expansion, a new road being paved on the west side of Cortex 2, the Cortex 2 chiller plant support frames being installed on the west side, and concrete walls & thick foundations on the east side. We also see more work at the far east clearing, including what may be a drainage outfall channel and/or a new water detention pond, work on the new caisson on the south side of River Road and the demolition of part of the caisson near the south bridge.
