From Torque News.
GM may revive the Camaro in 2027, sharing a platform with the Cadillac CT5 and an unnamed Buick sedan at the Lansing Grand River plant. It can even be an electric Camaro coming back in 2027.
A new Camaro is expected to offer rear-wheel drive and a version of the Corvette’s 6.7-liter V8 with around 500 horsepower in SS form.
Factory capacity needs and platform cost sharing make the business case as compelling as the emotional one.
