From Down at the barns.
There are some cars that behave themselves… and some that simply refuse.
This Triumph Vitesse has been part of Rick’s life for more than fifty years — and it’s been causing a little mischief ever since.
Bought in 1969 as a 21st birthday present, this Vitesse became the car that carried Rick and his wife through the early years of marriage. But on their wedding day in 1975, the Vitesse had other ideas… leaving the newlyweds stranded when the best man accidentally drove away with the keys.
Decades later, after years under a cover and a painstaking restoration, the car returned to the road — just in time for their 50th wedding anniversary.
And somehow… the Vitesse still managed to misbehave.
This is the story of one man, one Triumph, and fifty years of memories on four wheels.
