At CONEXPO 2026, Alex speaks with Vitezslav Vojacek, CEO of FirstGreen Industries. They take a look at several of the company’s offerings and discuss the technology behind the machines.

FirstGreen is an all-electric manufacturer of skid steers and mini track loaders and has never produced combustion-powered equipment. In addition to building conventional versions of these machines, the company also offers remote-controlled models that can be operated in hazardous environments without putting operators at risk.

One feature FirstGreen pioneered – and that is beginning to gain traction across the industry—is the use of separate (or "divorced") powertrain systems for drive and hydraulic functions. This design improves overall efficiency and helps extend runtime.
