Walmart EV Charging has built what could be a flagship charging location at Walmart’s flagship Supercenter; Store 4108 in Springdale, AR. This location , just off of I-49, was the home to Walmart EV Charging first first-party charging station beginning in 2023. In January 2026, Walmart EV Charging ripped out the 4 old Chargepoint Express Plus units and built an entirely new EV charging experience from the ground up.
Today, 4 Alpitrionic Hypercharger HYC400 units service 8 PULL-THROUGH stalls. 4 CCS and 4 NACS handles are available to charge every North American EV from the Audi eTron to the Tesla Model Y! I also demonstrate one of the ways that you can utilize the Walmart app to initiate a charge session. Many have balked at that requirement, but I show just how simple it actually is.
This station also has both of the discounts that Walmart EV Charging has available for customers. Time-of-use rates allow for off-peak prices at just $.32/kWh while on-peak pricing is a reasonable $.44/kWh; much better than the Pilot EVgo station 2 miles to the south asking for $.69/kWh. W+ members can also use their membership to receive an additional 10% of their charge at all hours of the day.
