From Transport Evolved.
The last few weeks in the United States — and in many other parts of the world — have been especially challenging for people of good conscience.
Alongside deeply troubling threats to civil liberties, we’ve seen communities targeted, opponents threatened, and rhetoric pushed to extremes. While not everyone who watches Transport Evolved shares the same political outlook, we believe there’s common ground in this: strong-arm tactics, intimidation, and the erosion of rights are not okay.
In the spirit of making good trouble, today’s Transport Evolved Hangout is a frank, thoughtful conversation about what’s happening right now — and what individuals and communities can do in response.
Nikki and Kate talk openly about:
Things you should probably know right now
Practices you might want to consider adopting
Alternative ways to prepare — calmly and constructively — for what could be a challenging few months ahead
This isn’t about panic, political posturing, or indeed inciting illegal activities. It is about awareness, resilience, community care, and looking out for one another — especially during uncertain times.
Note: This hangout discusses current events, civil liberties, and community preparedness. While viewpoints may differ, the conversation is grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that strong communities matter.
As always, thank you for being part of the Transport Evolved community.
Take care of yourselves — and each other. 💛
