2026 KGM Torres EVX | Full Review: Rugged Style vs. Real-World Refinement
The KGM Torres EVX (formerly the SsangYong Torres) is a bit of a wildcard in the 2026 EV market. It looks like a rugged off-roader, but underneath it’s a front-wheel-drive electric SUV powered by a BYD-sourced 73.4 kWh LFP battery.
On paper, it has everything: a massive 703-litre boot, V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) capabilities, and a market-leading 10-year / 1-million-kilometre battery warranty. But after spending some time with it, does the "rugged" personality make up for the lack of final polish in the software and driving dynamics?
