Tesla has begun deliveries of the most affordable Cybertruck ever, and I had a chance to look this new Cybertruck variant over. For 10 days you could have ordered this slightly trimmed down AWD Cybertruck for a mere $60k. Today, that same truck now costs $70k and will take at least a year to deliver.

Tesla has tried to offer a cheaper Cybertruck in the past, much like they have for the Model 3 and Model Y, but in the case of Cybertruck, the $70k version was originally launched with a ton of big equipment missing. This time, Tesla has decided to offer the same idea of an affordable Cybertruck, but without removing so much of the vital equipment to command a stronger price as they tried in the past.

At 325 miles of range, 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, 240v outlet in the bed, solid roll up tonneau cover, PowerShare and lots more equipment, this Cybertruck variant is Turing out to actually be a really good option to consider.

Initial customer deliveries of the $60k, 10 day fire sale version are beginning now and I dug deep to take a look at the actual differences between this new cheaper version and my own Dual Motor "premium" version. With the updated list of included equipment, the things you are missing in this version verses the premium are actually quite a bit more palatable.
