I stuck a Starlink Mini under the sunroof shade of my F-150 Lightning Lariat Extended Range so you literally wouldn’t know it’s there — stealthy suction-cup mount, no permanent mods. In this quick video I show the whole install: how I mounted it to the underside of the sunroof, fished the cable behind the headliner/C-pillar, and how I power it without leaving the truck on.
I used a suction cup bracket on the Mini, ran the cable with wire-fishing sticks through the gap, pulled the panel off briefly, and tucked the wire along the seat gap and under the floor mat. Power comes from a UGREEN 25,000mAh (~90Wh) battery pack as a buffer so the Starlink can stay on for ~2–3 hours when the truck is off — I’m seeing ~20W draw (about 1A at ~19.6V). I also show the option to use the factory Starlink power brick or the Lightning’s onboard 120V Pro Power. Speeds on my road trip were frequently 100–200 Mbps in rural areas.
