Modern electric cars are no longer just vehicles they are rolling computers. Packed with cameras, sensors, software and constant connectivity, connected cars promise safer, more convenient driving. But they also raise a sensitive question: what happens to all that data?
As concerns grow across Europe, some countries are already restricting Chinese-branded electric vehicles from military sites and critical infrastructure. In this episode, REV reporter Kevin Tschierse visits NIO’s Smart Driving Technology Center near Berlin and speaks with EU policymakers, engineers and cybersecurity experts to understand where the real risks lie and where fears may be overstated.
