Rivian just dropped update 2026.15, and I think this is the best Rivian software update so far.

The new Rivian AI Assistant can send text messages by voice, control different parts of the vehicle, open the frunk, open the gear tunnel doors, drop the tailgate, adjust settings, change ambient lighting, handle complex navigation requests, search for food and destinations along a route, help with charging stops, and even estimate charging costs.

You can also interrupt it and talk to it more naturally, almost like having a conversation with your vehicle. Since it learns from your history and should improve over time, this update has massive upside potential.

Connect+ already had value with hotspot access, Google Maps, and connected features, but this AI Assistant takes it to another level.
