Barn Find 80s Classic Locked Up When it was 5 years old (By Thrust 2’s World Record Engineer). In this special barnfind episode Jonny Smith visits a family in Lincolnshire where the late owner was an RAF Lightning jet engineer. He was the Rolls Royce jet engineer who helped Richard Noble’s Thrust 2 secure its 1983 world land speed record of 633mph. Whilst not glamourous at all, the car was bought new during the same year, but strangely parked up 5 years later and never driven again. There’s even a bonus garden find classic. Rare but nobody cares? We will let you decide.
