It’s time for an epic hybrid estate vs performance SUV showdown!We’ve got Mat in his new BMW M5 Touring, and it’s going head-to-head against a Lamborghini Urus over the quarter-mile. Will this hefty V8 hybrid have what it takes to bring down the lighter Italian super-SUV? Let’s take a closer look at the performance stats…Starting with the BMW M5, it’s powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with an electric motor. Combined, they produce 727hp and 1,000Nm of torque. All that power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It costs £116,160, and it tips the scales at a heavy 2,475kg!

Then we have the Lamborghini. It’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this puts down 650hp and 850Nm! It comes equipped with all-wheel drive, and it costs £172,500. What’s more, despite being an SUV, it’s a fair bit lighter than the BMW, weighing in at 2,200kg!
