I flew back to China to finally drive the refreshed Tesla Model Y L – a longer, taller, family-focused version of the Y with a true third row. In this video, I walk through everything that sets it apart from the regular Model Y and explain why it actually works for families. I test every seat (I’m 6’1" and fit in the third row with both knee and headroom), try out the upgraded wireless charger, show the new gray interior, and share what surprised me – as well as what annoyed me.
