Volvo EX30 review – Game-changing new EV rated

Toyota hasn’t exactly been quick off the mark with electric cars in the UK. To date we’ve only had the oddly named bZ4X, but that’s about to change.

Arriving this year is a new supermini-sized small electric SUV, and instead of it wearing a name that appears to be a wi-fi password, Toyota is resorting to a name from its back catalogue (in the UK at least).

The new Urban Cruiser will be going up against a whole host of rivals, such as the Kia EV3, Vauxhall Mokka Electric and the new Skoda Elroq.

There will be two battery sizes offered – 49kWh and 61kWh. No electric ranges have been reveal, and nor have the prices. But I would imaging between 200 and 270 miles and a starting price of around £30,000 to £32,000.

What do you think to it? Let me know in the comments section.
