Description:
Today I test the Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX Long Wheelbase (86 kWh) on the Autobahn at a constant 130 km/h (81 mph) to see how much range you can expect in real-world summer conditions.
With all-wheel drive, 250 kW of power, a heat pump, 21-inch wheels, and temperatures climbing throughout the day, this is a demanding test for Volkswagen’s largest electric passenger vehicle. Unfortunately, major highway closures and construction zones complicate the route, but the test continues with a full analysis of consumption, comfort, noise levels, and long-distance suitability.
