Alex took Kyle’s Rivian R1T on his longest towing trip yet – a roughly 500-mile round trip from his shop in North Carolina through Virginia, around the southern edge of Washington, D.C., and up to Annapolis, Maryland – to pick up a new project car: a free 1972 Porsche 914 that’s already been converted to electric power. This video covers the entire journey, from hooking up the trailer and monitoring efficiency to charging along the way at Rivian Adventure Network sites and Tesla Superchargers, providing a real-world look at what it’s like to tow with an electric truck over a long distance.
