In this video I show how the Lightning’s spare system works, where the jack and tools are stored behind the rear seat, and how the crank lowers the spare from under the bed just like a gas Ford F-150. You’ll see the full process of lowering, installing, and raising the wheel — and why I’m glad this truck still comes with a full-size spare when many EVs don’t.
