From Out of Spec Podcast.
After blowing my right-rear tire on the highway (thanks to a big metal screw) on the way to work, I ended up doing a roadside swap at a 7-Eleven using the full-size spare on my Ford F-150 Lightning. In this video I show how the Lightning’s spare system works, where the jack and tools are stored behind the rear seat, and how the crank lowers the spare from under the bed just like a gas Ford F-150. You’ll see the full process of lowering, installing, and raising the wheel — and why I’m glad this truck still comes with a full-size spare when many EVs don’t. Does your EV or truck include a spare?
