I’m starting a fully electric lawn care business – and this is the rig.
I built it using mostly EGO gear plus some cheap DIY battery backup, with a total cost of about $2,900. That includes a 42" EGO zero-turn with four batteries and a fast charger, a commercial-grade push mower, a carbon-fiber blower, and a budget weed eater I picked up online.
In this video, I walk through the setup, how I plan to manage charging and runtime, and whether an all-electric setup can actually work for real lawn jobs.
