This is your mid-June 2026 update — 4 new EV charging stations opened, active construction spotted nationwide, and a permit pipeline approaching 400 locations.
In the first two weeks of June alone, Walmart added four new EV charging stations across Utah, Nebraska, and Florida. All four run ABB A400 chargers (8 stalls each — 4 CCS, 4 NACS). I break down the Walmart Plus pricing at each site, flag the Largo location’s 2.5MW transformer that signals a future expansion to 12 stalls, and walk through what Saratoga Springs’ time-of-use rates (as low as 29¢/kWh overnight) mean for EV drivers.
We also hit a milestone that doesn’t get enough attention: Walmart EV charging now has more new sites open in 2026 (51) than IONNA (45). Both are building fast and both benefit EV drivers — but Walmart has clearly captured the momentum at the halfway point of the year.
