Scout Motors Is Moving FAST in South Carolina as I See Massive Progress at the Blythewood Plant

From Torque News.

Today I visited the Scout Motors construction site in Blythewood, South Carolina, and the scale of this project is honestly hard to capture until you see it in person. The factory buildings are already massive, construction crews are everywhere, and it’s clear this EV plant is moving forward at a serious pace. In this video, I take you through the latest progress, show what’s already been built, and explain why this site could become one of the biggest automotive manufacturing stories in the Southeast.

Scout Motors, backed by Volkswagen, plans to build electric SUVs and trucks here in South Carolina, and many people are asking how far along the factory really is, when production could begin, and whether this plant will compete with Tesla, Rivian, Ford, and other EV makers. If you’re interested in EV manufacturing, automotive industry growth, South Carolina jobs, or the future of Scout trucks and SUVs, this video gives you a close-up look at where things stand right now on the ground in Blythewood.
