From Trucked Up EVs.

For the Record, I love range extending tech for EV trucks. This video isn’t about being ‘anti-EREV’; it’s about bad timing.
As you all know, I will be building a DIY range extended system for my Lightning.
But there’s the difference: Shouldn’t the tech work with full-sized battery packs instead of reduced ones, thus giving them similar range to something like Scout Motors or the RAM REV 1500, but flipping the gas/electric math?
And it’s the math that might mean the approach Big Auto has committed to is already doomed by 2030.
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this one. I know it’s controversial and I’m waiting for viewers to prove me wrong, but the three numbers make a pretty serious case that this ship has already sailed.
